Welcome to my personal art space on the web: kyah’swulrd. My name is Jakyah Overton but I also prefer Kyah. Join me on this journey!

I typically identify as a painter but as I evolve and explore being titled an Artist is perfect. As you may see I like working in oil paint, pastels, acrylic, graphite, and yearning to try more. I am more than happy to share this part of me and show my work in my personal sketchbooks, volunteer work, and my current favorite medium: canvas. Things that inspired the pieces on my site and continue to inspire me include editorials, makeup, sociology, friends, family and overall visually expressive artwork.
